A chronic disease

A friend of mine suffered asthma when she was still young. It was already cured because she was trained into swimming. Asthma is a long lasting disease of the respiratory system in which the walls of the airways in lungs become sore and swollen. The air we breath is one of the causes. Some of the signs and symptoms are coughing, whistling sound when you breath, chest tightness, shortness of breath and faster breathing. As a quick relieve when it attacks they use a nebulizer or for today the new portable oxygen concentrator. To avoid asthma its better to have a regular checkup from your doctor.

Yes--both my kids used to have it too.Its awful. Now their resistance to it is so much better than when they were babies.Yet I get nightmares just thinking about it.I'm extra careful.
