got a new layout and doing this is not an easy task. one must have a bunch of patience. Aside from the cultural cities of Spain I like to visit also Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain. H's day

Last H birthday I hosted a tee time and a slight dinner for the whole the family. They were all present. It was not as stressful as it used to be because my SILs were there to help. At the dinner the children were the topic from puberty, dating, careers and even body building for the young boys. Yesterday I attended our sunday church group. We shared our week's blessings by telling inspiring stories that happened the past week. Its been two years since we moved in here. I still remember the stress of renovating the place we move in. The packing and unpacking of things. Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her.

"There's one more thing," she excitedly.

"What's that?" came the pastor's reply.

"This is very important," the woman continued. "I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand."

The pastor stood looking at the woman, not knowing quite what to say. "That surprises you, doesn't it?" the woman asked.

"Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request," said the pastor.

The woman explained.

"In all my years of attending church socials and potluck dinners I always remember that when the dishes were cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork.'

It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming... like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful and of substance!

So I just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to wonder, 'What's with the fork?'

The pastor's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the woman goodbye.

He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death. But he also knew that the woman had a better grasp of heaven that he did. She knew that something better was coming.

At the funeral people were walking by the woman's casket and they saw the pretty dress she was wearing and her favorite Bible and the fork placed in her right hand.

Over and over, the pastor heard the question, "What's with the fork?" And over and over he smiled.

During his message, the pastor told the people of the conversation he had with the woman shortly before she died.

He also told them about the fork and what it symbolized to her.

The pastor told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either.

He was right.

So the next time you reach down for your fork, let it remind you oh so gently, that the best is yet to come.

Chipmunk piped up and reminded the others to focus on solutions that would allow everyone to be fed. Fox and Wolf agreed, each adding a solution, while Squirrel gathered all the information. Bluejay noticed that Bear had not said a thing.

Finally, Bluejay asked Bear why she was so silent, and Bear replied, "I'm listening and learning. I don't need to talk; I already know what I know."

We already finalized our summer vacation. After consulting the Cheap Hotels in London. We will visit London. The hotel we booked is only 5 km to the City Centre, 6 km to the Train Station and 8 km to the Airport. From the London Hotels we choose from this was we like most because we can view the London eye or the millenium wheel. When all the people are enjoying the heat of sun by deeping themselves in the lake, or in the resort. I spend the whole day at home cleaning because next week will be having visitors. I changed the curtains and table cloths. I washed the window glasses. I removed cobwebs from the ceilings. I dusted the lamps and the bulbs. I brought out some coffeewares. I went to accompany H for her massage theraphy yesterday late afternoon. And I met my former collegue in my part time job. We greeted and asked each other how we're both doing. She told me everything is fine now with her family and husband. Her husband was already treated in the drug rehabilitation center. The husband was into drug addiction for the past 2 years since he lost his job. She wanted to give up everything before and leave her husband. But with the help of the marriage encounter club in the church she realized that she should do her best to help her husband change. This time she is 3 months pregnant for their 2nd baby and the husband already found a new job.

the wooden staircase of the embassy

I went back home 2 hours ago and went back here 2 hours also. heheh... what im talking about is i went to embassy while ago to renew my pass. the embassy office is the same pinoy style including the staircase, the furnitures and the employees. we travel early in the morning because i was instructed that there were many people and the embassy closes at 1pm. I was also instucted na dun na magpa pic. And request a new pass to be delivered by mail and so buy also envelop and stamps. with this complicated instruction ive learned from a fellow who just recently renewed her pass. it sounds very un organized to me. so i consulted the embassy website and there ive learned the procedures. i printed and filled out the form. i recoppied my old pass. i did a photo shot here in the photo studio and told the photographer the exact measurement, with white background and a full face shot. when we arrived there there where no many people and the transaction was smoothly done injust 5 minutes. And requested to pick it up after 2 days compared to the mail one for a week delivery. And so that was my great thanks to internet of cource heheh...

Yesterday H came home with a parcel from his work. As I opened the box I saw a little gadget and that stated Digital Signature pad. I was amazed how this work and excitedly asked H to install the software in the computer. I find it cool I can now write my signatures in every documents and letters I type on my computer.

Living so many miles away from home sometimes made me ill, as a result of volumnious bills on my telephone and countless collection of calling cards. But that was before when web conferencing was not yet discovered. This time I love making calls and to see and to be seen my family in person.

As I've said being away from family can make one sick specially with no communication at all. Thanks to technology family ties are more tighten with improved technology. I can be updated with my family and friends from time to time. There will be no more missing yous. And I will be always keeping in touch with the special people in my life and letting them know how much they mean.

Man's best friend

How I wish to have a pet dog in the house but it is not allowed. My SIL owned a chitzu name Niky. She is love by everyone in the family. She is well feed and groom. The first time she saw me she is already friendly. She loves going out with us when not raining. She is little bit afraid of water. And so she take a bath once in 2 weeks. To prevent her from fleas. She was groom properly. Her hair is cut short. SIL trained her also where she should stay in house. In her basket most of the time and not in the sofa or bed. SIL also have flea spray and always vacuum their house. She dont use also carpets in her house. With this practice from SIL, Niky is protected from fleas and so her family.

Niky is also well fed with Premium dog food. She has also taking supplements and vitamins. Every month she visit her veterinarian to keep her always fit and healthy. When SIl are in vacation they leave her at MIL and she is also well behave. Sometimes I also volunteer to go for a walk with her along the neighborhood. She is really a lovely pet.

weekend furniture hunting

Last weekend we spend the day hunting a couch center table at a different furniture shops. But sad to say I didnt find what I really like and wanted to have. I like this kind of Century furniture. They are elagant and sturdy that can last for years. What I really like with this kind of furniture is they are easily maintain just a simple wipe or dust cleaner will do.

I asked SIL where can we find a good furniture buys. She suggested a nice website and viola I found what I am looking for. A traditional cheery grove round cocktail table. It has glass insert on top and a one fixed shelf at the bottom. SIL will do the ordering for me and I wish she will make also the payment for it lol!. Her friend is just near the dealer shop. They still negogiating for it by next week probpably will be delivered soon. What a great suggestion from SIL.

to the birthday boy

H's nephew celebrated his 18th birthday yesterday. We decided to buy some gifts for him but we cant choose the right one. So we just avail a gift certicate to buy at his own favorite clothes shop.

The party last night was good, cool and the atmosphere is very lively. Most of the visitors are young and young at heart just like us lol! The party was held in a rented hall decorated by his friends. They made it into a disco ground. The drinks that were served taste good as well as the refreshment. The celebration is also a thanksgiving as he received a work contract for his Practicum. He studies at the same time with pay.

He like very much the gift check and this afternoon he just called us to thank the gift. And to informed us that he has already used the gift check and bought some clothes for him. He was very happy as he avail discount prices too for the crazy summer sale. Thanks to kicktime.com we made someone happy on his day!

friendship

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.” They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.”
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?” The other friend replied: “When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.” The moral of the story learn to write your hurts in the sand, and to crave your benefits in the stone.

lessons from the frog

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words… it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times. Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop,that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took
heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out.When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?” The frog explained to
them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

On buying a house

We have plans to buy a house of our own but its not yet time. Buying a house is a very serious matter that comes into every people's lives. With so many blooming realtors in town its hard to choose the best realtor. We had already made house hunting by visiting some of their sample houses. We are also considering if we can afford it and that it fits with our lifestyle too. We like our house is very close to nature,away from city noise and smoke, near parks, a mountain view or near a lake. When the time comes I hope we can find the right one.

Vacation time

This is a story about four people: Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody have done.

Wish to visit Rome

Italy is one of my list I wish to visit. As early as possible I already made my Itenenary. I like to go to Rome particularly in Vatican City then to Milan and Venice. every day is sometimes unpleasant without motivational instinct within me. im fond of collecting thoughts that i can compile to my collections. Sometimes i post them somewhere in the house. Like when i woke i can a quote or saying at once a open my eyes. Isn’t that weird heheh… Or in my kitchen that serve as posties in the fridge or in my monitor. Madrid here I come

We already finalized our summer vacation. After consulting the Cheap Hotels in Madrid. We will visit Madrid. And finally to know more about Spain since I only learned it during our history when they conquered our land for 300 years.

in case of rain

i wanted to share you this sunday article. its really approrpriate today specially that it rain here so hard everyday. just love reading this early morning as i sip my cup of tea.
The fields were parched and brown from lack of rain, and the crops lay wilting from thirst. People were anxious and irritable as they searched the sky for any sign of relief. Days turned into arid weeks. No rain came.
The ministers of the local churches called for an hour of prayer on the town square the following Saturday. They requested that everyone bring on object of faith for inspiration.
At high noon on the appointed Saturday the townspeople turned out en masse, filling the square with anxious faces and hopeful hearts. The ministers were touched to see the variety of objects clutched in prayerful hands … holy books, crosses, rosaries.
When the hour ended, as if on magical command, a soft rain began to fall. Cheers swept the crowd as they held their treasured objects high in gratitude and praise. From the middle of the crowd one faith symbol seemed to overshadow all the others.
A small nine-year old child had brought an umbrella.
